It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Karina after a battle with cancer. She made her transition into eternal life in her home surrounded by an abundance of love.

Karina was a warrior her whole life and fought a hard fight until the very end. We will always remember her as the caring person who used her creativity to brighten up other’s days. She was relentless in her care for loved ones through strong will and perseverance. She loved the smell of wet dirt and the feeling of sand between her toes. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends on the beaches of San Diego and Ventura California and Rocky Point, Mexico. She excelled in the corporate world for 20 years through her admirable work ethic.

She is survived by her parents Rosa & Evan Allen, daughter Rosa Marie Marrufo, her sons, Ozwaldo Marrufo and Darien Francies, her partner Mike Francies,

Sisters Julie Johnson (Kirk) and Gabriela Chatman (Phil), nieces Priscilla Nevarez and Gabrielle Chatman nephews Miguel Nevarez, Emilio Ledezma, Joaquin Johnson, Orion Bracamonte & Houston Chatman Harris. Her beloved loyal friends will also be left behind to mourn her tremendous loss. Her sweet Lonzo will also miss her very much.
