Asha Marie Kindall

Asha's story in her own words... "So, my name is Asha Marie Kindall. I was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma at the age of nine years old. Osteo is a bone cancer. I am a left leg amputee. The cancer is known to spread. After it moved from the leg, It moved to the lungs, which is common. I have had several surgeries performed on my lungs. So I've basically been operating since high school on one lung due to several removal operations of tumors throughout the years. I've been battling stage four cancer since I was 9 years old. I am still battling stage four cancer and I am 22 years old. Life has been full of blessings for me. I've been very fortunate over the years. Very blessed and appreciative to all that I have overcome. But as of late, things with my health have not been the greatest. I am currently dealing with the recent news of a tumor that is large in size and has taken over my lung. I have been in the hospital and I have moved to another facility momentarily before being sent home. As of the news that I have received...things are not looking good and there is not much that can be done. This situation isn't all bad because without the love and support of everyone around me I would be even more of a mess than what I am. I am thankful to have family and friends around me. I'm happy to be receiving your love, positive energy and prayers. I am happy to have lived such an amazing life. Even though this situation is not the easiest to process. I am going to be okay. (Hell who knows, I might poop this tumor out. You never know! All jokes guys. It's okay to laugh during hard times) I just wanted to thank everyone who has been in my life, or entered my life, or has simply just said hello to me. I want to thank you for your kindness. I want to thank you for your friendship. I want to thank you for your understanding and acceptance. I want to thank you for accepting me and loving me the way that I am despite what I've been through. You will never know how much you guys have contributed to my growth, confidence, just everything. I thank you. Thank you all so so so much. I can never stress that enough. I love all your beautiful hearts, minds and souls. Just thank you. Again thank you all for the love and support. Your compassion has made my heart so warm. I can't express how grateful I am to know so many good people in my life. " Shortly after this was written she was able to go home to live her last days with her loving family and boyfriend. Asha Marie Kindall was set free to be in a better place Sunday 12/10/17. Asha was loving, caring, sweet, compassionate, thoughtful, generous and absolutely AMAZING! She had a free spirit that captured and touched so many here on earth. She loved life and brought joy to so many people. Asha accepted everyone of all faiths and beliefs because so many accepted her. She was truly such a beautiful person inside and out. Asha is an Angel from God that was sent to bless all that was fortunate to know her. She fought her cancer battle for many years with all the strength she had. Unfortunately God had a different plan for Asha that we must accept as extremely difficult as it is.

Asha was preceded in death by Marcia Kindall and Edwin Kindall.

She is survived by her mother, Lutie Johnson; Father, Edwin Kindall; Grandparents, Sadie Miller, Virgil Miller and Kenneth Fitts; and Sister, Nevaeh Smith.

Services will be held at a later date in Missouri.
