Macky L. McCauley Sr

Macky L. McCauley, Sr, 61, passed away June 23, 2019 in Maricopa. He was born in Rockford, IL to Martha and Melvin McCauley who proceed him in death. He worked for Exelon Generation for 35 years. He retired in October of 2013 and moved to Minong, WI where he loved to snowmobile, ATV and visit with friends. He then moved to Maricopa in February 2018. Macky was an avid Packers fan and enjoyed tailgating at Lambeau Field prior to the Packers game.. He enjoyed all sports, especially football. He enjoyed hiking, cooking and traveling to Jamaica. He coached Jr. Tackle, softball and baseball. He was very family oriented and would lend a helping hand to anyone.

He is survived by his wife of almost 21 years Darcee L. McCauley; Son Macky McCauley Jr (Angela) of Roscoe, IL; Stepchildren Jamie McCauley (Steven) of North Carolina, Ryan Saddler (Ashley) of Kalamazoo, MI and Jennifer Hanson of Illinois; Sisters Dolly McCauley Gunderson (David) of South Bend, IL and Debra McCauley of Loves Park, IL; Grandchildren Adynn McCauley, Tyler Rogers, Macy McCauley, Erhan Hoffer, Keegan Saddler, Ryleigh Saddler, Cade Broomfield and Colt Broomfield.

He is proceeded in death by his parents Martha and Melvin McCauley and grandparents Byron and Edna McCauley and Harry and Edna LaQue.

There will be a memorial service at a later date in Roscoe, IL.
