Madeline Nell Stuive


Medeline Nell Stuive, formally of Salina, Kansas died peacefully on October 31, 2019 in Chandler, AZ.

Mrs. Stuive was born on April 18, 1937 in Kannapolis, Kansas to John and Katherine (Gwinner) Gust. She married Delbert Stuive on August 30, 1958 and celebrated 61 years this year. She worked as a parts lady for Ginder Hydrolics in Salina, Kansas and later for a coffee company.

For many years she enjoyed cooking and sewing. After retirement she and Delbert RVd in their fifth wheel for nearly 20 years visiting many national treasures and sights unknown to many. She touched many lives through sewing things for walkers and plastic bags for homeless people living on the streets. They settled here in Casa Grande for the warm weather.

She is proceeded in death by a brother Wallace.

She is survived by her husband Delbert, a daughter Katherine Freudenthal (Bob) of Blair, NE and two sons Norman Stuive of Salina, KS and Kenneth Stuive (Sharon) of Colorado Springs, CO

Memorial donations can go to Alzheimer s research or the charity of their choice.

A memorial service is planned for Tuesday November 5, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Arizona Village clubhouse at 426 W. Cottonwood Ln.
