Ruben V. Beltran


Ruben V. Beltran, 67, passed away March 2, 2020 in Casa Grande. He was 67. Born in Eloy, AZ, Ruben served 25 years faithfully in the US Army. His army tours included the Vietnam War, Operation Just Cause, invasion of Panama, Desert Storm and 9/11. In his post military career, Ruben served as a correction officer for the California Department of Corrections for 21 years. His family describes Ruben as having a gypsy soul who traveled the world throughout his life. Ruben was a food and drink enthusiast that often enjoyed trying new restaurants and sampling cultural foods. In his spare time he enjoyed landscaping his yard and cookouts with his family, while listening to 60s music. More than anything, Ruben took pride in providing for his family.

Ruben is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Yolanda; Children Jesus Ruben Beltran, Jerry Joseph Beltran, and Ava Nicole Beltran; Sisters Solia Gomez, Elida Beltran Johnson and Irma Beltran; Brothers Frankie Beltran, Ismael Beltran Jr., and Jose Angel Beltran and grandchildren Carissa Beltran, Noah Beltran, Jeremiah Beltran and Josiah Beltran.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ismael and Maria Beltran and his sister Elodia Soto.

Services will be March 7, 2020 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church at Noon. Burial following at Mt. View Cemetery, Casa Grande at 2:00 pm.
