Mauva Gracin Washington

Mauva Gracin Washington was born September 5, 1942 in Los Angeles, California and went to meet the Lord on April 3, 2020. She is survived by her three children; Alonzo Washington, Marvell Avery, and Hilda Avery; two siblings Chestine Saunders and Artie Saunders and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mauva was a devout Christian and lived her life serving the Lord. Her life is represented by all of whom she encountered on her journey.

Mauva saw the beauty in life and took nothing for granted, and held herself accountable. She shared her truth and you could "like it, love it, or leave it." One of her many quotes : I'm tellin you with God love and what Jesus died for". You never had to wonder where you stood with her.

Mauva will always be remembered as nothing less than extraordinary. She is the epitome of love and life lived to the fullest. She truly loved all who were blessed to have met her and she will be missed.
