Arloah "Jean" Stango

October 25, 1949 - November 21, 2025

Arloah "Jean" Stango, 76, passed away peacefully in her sleep November 21, 2025 in Maricopa. She was born October 25, 1949 in Oregon and moved to Arizona as a child. She grew up in Maryville and raised her children in Arizona. About 15 years ago she moved back to Oregon when she retired. She ended back in Arizona to be closer to family.

She liked to run marathons and keep in shape. She was one of the first instructors in Jazzercise. She enjoyed home decorating and was very talented.

Jean is survived by her children Steve Danforth (Donna), Jake Stango (Jen), and Sara Stango; siblings Mike Blair, Lance Blair, Rick Buffington, and Chuck Buffington and 3 grandchildren Maggie, Jude, and Penny.

She is preceded in death by her parents Arloah and Rick Buffington and her brother Scott Blair and her husband John Stango.
