He is survived by his parents Maryann and Juan G. Valadez; his daughter Lilyanna Valadez; grandmother Josie Rojas; sisters Norma, Rena, and Susanna Valadez and brothers Tony, Anthony, and Juan Jr. Valadez.

Manuel was a kindhearted man. He enjoyed being around his family and friends. He also enjoyed listening to music and making others laugh.
