Roy E. Lovvorn

Roy E. Lovvorn, 91, passed away September 19, 2020 peacefully at home in Maricopa after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Tulia, Texas to Johnnie and Leona Lovvorn on May 27, 1929.

Roy served in the Navy from 1946 - 1951 as a ship engine mechanic. Roy and Sharon were married for 49 years. He retired from long haul truck driving at age 80. He enjoyed restoring old vehicles. He loved riding his Harley Davidson and was a life long member of HOG.

Roy is survived by his wife Sharon; children Dee Thoren of Westcliffe, CO, Deloris Newton of Pryor, OK, Lori Jennings of Layton, UT, and Yvette Flores of Okmulgee, OK; siblings Hazel Watson of Tucumcari, NM, Zillah Watson of Carrizozo, NM, and Ralph Lovvorn of Owasso, OK; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

There will be no services.
