Abel Trevino passed away May 13, 2026 in Casa Grande. He was 68. Abel was born on September 4, 1957.
Abel was a hardworking man. He worked construction for many years. He enjoyed music, old western movies, especially John Wayne. He loved family gatherings, especially with his old school buddies and brothers in Christ. The Steelers were his favorite football team. He enjoyed church on Sundays. His favorite thing to do in the morning was to text Bible verses to his family and friends, along with "Have yourself a beautiful day. I love you."
His four granddaughters were the loves of his life. His laughter and smile would light up any room.
He fought a very long battle with his illness, a true fighter until his very last breath. He truly enjoyed and loved life.
Abel is survived by his daughter Angelena Trevino of Casa Grande; his mother Adelina Honeybone; his sister Debra Acree (Kenny) of Concord, GA; his brothers Doyle Wayne Wallace of Casa Grande and Carlos Tijerina (Patty) of Forney, TX; Octavio Trevino, Jr, Oscar Antonio Trevino and sisters Patricia, Tonia, Christina, Elizabeth, and Teresa Trevino of California; his granddaughters Jasmine Hart and Makayla, Emilia, and Madison Gazzano.
He is preceded in death by his father Octavio Trevino, Sr.; brothers Danny and Bobby Wallace; maternal grandparents Damacio and Ponciana Solano and paternal grandparents Manuel and Manuela Trevino.
