Amelia Trias AKA Tiny

June 4. 1954 - March 16, 2024

Amelia Trias "Tiny" passed away March 16, 2024 Amelia, born of Fernando and Ruth Trias in Manhattan, New York, was an amazing individual. Growing up, she had a love for art and fashion. She would find herself creating wire sculptures, painting, drawing, etc. She didn't have friends, instead she had extended family. The relationships she made were forever lasting. As an adult with 3 amazing children, she kept that spirit and always someone's "second mother". She was inviting and always had a home cooked meal ready for you. Her cooking was so amazing, a family owned food truck was opened by her children with the basis of the recipes being hers. If you see, or have eaten at Sofrito Tan Rico, a piece of Amelia lives in you as well. 

in Maricopa. She was 69. Tiny was born June 4, 1954.

She is survived by her children Venus Rivera-Franz, Joseph Trias, and Fabian N. Trias; siblings Angie McVetty and Fernando Trias Jr.; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Fernando and Ruth Trias and her brother Edwin A. Matos.
