Dale Rodolff

Dale Rodolff, 83, died at his home in Eloy, AZ. on Sep. 20, 2021, with his daughter by his bedside.
Mr. Rodolff was born on Aug. 5, 1938. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mining engineering
from the University of Arizona. He was a recognized expert in the smelting operations of the mining
industry around the world. At Inspiration Consolidated Copper Company, he was tapped to lead the
design, engineering and operation of the rod plant in Claypool. In Northern Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe
he was the smelter superintendent and assistant general manager operations for Rio Tinto Co.
He also managed the smelter operations at Magma's San Manuel copper smelter and later led efforts to
modernize the Kennecott smelter at Garfield, Utah. For several years he worked with Outokumpu Oyj group
in selling smelter technology worldwide.
He loved outdoors and was most comfortable at his hillside home near Evergreen, Colorado. He had an
abiding faith in God and spread it to all who would listen.
He is survived by his former wife, Kathleen: a daughter, Julia Lyon: and two grandchildren.
Visitation beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sep. 25, at Calvary Chapel in Casa Grande.
