May 2, 1947 – April 28, 2026. Helen (Torchie) Hardin passed away on April 28, 2026 at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center, Casa Grande, AZ. She was 78 years old.
She was born May 2, 1947 in Bloomington, IL to John Paul Griffard and Helen Kensinger Griffard. She married the love of her life James Hardin and they spent many wonderful years together before his passing in October 2024.
Torchie enjoyed cooking, her dogs, and traveling with her husband. She loved the color purple. She attended Pinal County Cowboy Church.
Torchie is survived by her siblings, Sue Lewis, California, Ruth Davis, Illinois, Mary Griffard, Illinois, and John (Tammy) Griffard, South Carolina. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Paul and Helen Griffard and her husband Jim Hardin.
