Joe B. "Little Taco" Duran Sr.

August 17, 1941 - June 25, 2023

Joe B. Duran, Sr passed away June 25, 2023 in Casa Grande. He was 81. Mr. Duran left a lasting impression on many people for being a loving and caring person. No one was a stranger to him. He was known as "TaTa" by the neighborhood kids and friends' grandchildren. He dedicated his life to his church and had a passion for music. He was a great guitar player and brought much joy when he played at birthday parties and family gatherings. He was loved by all that knew him and will be missed immensely.

Joe is survived by his wife of 61 years, Rosa M. Duran; children Guadalupe LaFavor and Diane Duran of VCasa Grande and Sarah LaDuke of Phoenix, Joe Duran Jr., Mario T. Duran, and Enrique Duran, all of Casa Grande; 3 sisters and 1 brother; 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Yolanda Aragon, brother Michael Duran, and grandson Joshua A. Duran.

Funeral services will be July 7, 2023 at Passion Church, 501 E. Kortsen Rd., Casa Grande at 9:00 am. Burial immediately following at Mt. View Cemetery.
