Leopoldo "Polo" "Leo" Cedeno

September 3, 1957 - February 1, 2022

Leopoldo “Polo” “Leo” Cedeño, 64, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. He was the third of 12 children, born to Luis and Luciana Cedeño in Arúmbaro Michoacán, Mexico.

Polo and his family migrated to the United States in 1986, where he pursued his passion as an auto mechanic. He would spend hours working on vehicles until he had them running again. Always welcomed a new challenge and was never discouraged regardless of how long it took. Later in life he discovered his love for music. He taught himself to play the guitar and spent most of his free time learning notes and singing songs. Polo enjoyed gardening and would go out every evening to water his plants. He always made time to watch soccer, especially if it was World Cup or any qualifiers. He was a simple man that appreciated every day regardless of how difficult it was or how tired he felt. Polo never looked back and only lived in the present.

Loved by those who knew him for his playful personality and warm caring smile, Polo was dedicated to his family and always showed his support for his children’s happiness.

Polo is survived by his second wife Cecilia; his seven children, Yvonne, Luis, Sergio, David, Daniel, Ariana, Leo; and 4 grandchildren.

A funeral service is scheduled for 8AM on February 10, 2022, at St. Anthony of Padua 201 N. Picacho Street Casa Grande, AZ 85122. Interment will be held at Eloy Memorial Park 5839 E Milligan Rd. Eloy, AZ 85131.
