Lonnie Richard Hutchins

Lonnie Richard Hutchins passed away October 27, 2021 in Phoenix, AZ. He was 78. He was born in Oklahoma City, OK on November 23, 1942 to Bruce and Grace Hutchins, who preceded him in death.

He served in the Army for 20 years as Military Police. He also served in Vietnam. He was an Oklahoma State Trooper.

Lonnie loved talking to his friends and family especially about his time in the service and as a state trooper. His favorite shows were police crime dramas, westerns, and the news.

He is survived by his wife Wanda Hutchins; his children Lonnie Bruce Hutchins, Robert Allen Hutchins, and Lorie Hernandez; 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife Marilyn Castillo; his son Timothy Hutchins; his twin brother Larry Clifford Hutchins; half brother James Hutchins.

There will be a memorial service at Marana Veterans Cemetery January 7, 2022 at 10:00 am. Bishop Isaac R. Johnson presiding.
