Margaret Syme Mitchell

Margaret Syme Mitchell, age 87. Passed away on Tuesday, September 14th at her home in Casa Grande with her husband Jack, daughter Karen, and friend Deb by her side. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a friend to all who knew her and loved her. With skilled hands as a seamstress, talented hands in painting ceramics and loving hands to be a wonderful homemaker. Maggie enjoyed a great and wonderful life. With her love for sports: including the Arizona Cardinals, family camping and boating at Lake Powell. She was also an avid card player, not missing Monday Night Card Bingo for over 17 years. She was also "Coffee Hostess" for the Wednesday night "Jam Session" for over 14 years. She traveled the world, visiting 4 continents, and over a dozen countries. And she and Jack Square Danced their way across the United States. Born in Moroni, Utah on December 14, 1933. Survived by her husband Jack of almost 69 years. Also survived by Margaret Elizabeth Rees (John), Suzanne Ren (Gary), Karen M Child (Kevin), Michael John Mitchell (Kim), 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
