Rose Christine Garza

May 3, 1949 - October 22, 2020

On Thursday, October 22, 2020, Rose Christine Garza, loving mother, sister, and aunt, passed away at the age of 71 after a battle with cancer. Rose was born on May 3, 1949, in Picacho, Arizona.

Rose had a passion for raising her son, spending time with family, and being an excellent cook. The eldest of 7 siblings, she was always willing to take care of the younger siblings and relatives. She was known for her storytelling, engaging laugh, and caring spirit.

Rose is preceded in death by her mother Anita Carlos, father Alexander Choyuguha, brother Alex Pino and half brother Alex Choyuguha, former husband Arturo Garza, Sr., and son Danny Garza. She is survived by her son, Arturo Garza Jr. of Casa Grande, AZ, and her siblings Angelo Pina of Blackwater, AZ, Amelia Flores of Mesa, AZ, Carmen Osborne of Stockton, CA, Tony Trevino of Visalia, CA, Manuel Trevino of Eloy, AZ, Rudy Pino of Phoenix, AZ, half-sister Rose Choyuguha of Stanfield, AZ, half- sister Rita Choyuguha of Stanfield, AZ and a host of nieces and nephews and cousins.

To ensure the safety of immediate and extended family members, a memorial service will be held at a later date. The family also asks those who knew Rose to light a candle in her memory.
