Susan Rivera

Susan Rivera, 60 of Casa Grande, AZ. passed away April 1st, 2021. Sue was born Jan 11,

1961 in Carry, IL. and moved to Arizona after marrying her husband Alberto Rivera in 2001.

She was an active member in her church, as well as a volunteer for Hospice Campassus for

last 6 years.

She is preceded in death by her mother Vera Couglan. She is survived by her sons: Jeremy

Thurber and James (Jim) Thurber: her siblings Michael Schuldt, Dennis Schuldt, Patricia Hivon,

Barbara Rusch, Jeanne Soberg, John Coughlan, Kathleen Nieman, Bob Coughlan: her stepchildren

Joyce Tangney, Eddie Rivera, George Rivera, Enith Humpert and Alexander Rivera: as well as

her 12 grandchildren and 7 greatgrandchildren.

Sue will be remember for her bubbly personality, positive energy, her love for people and life,

as well as her love for her husband and family and all their adventures they share together.

A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held Friday April 9th, 2021 at the Strong Tower Church

located at 1867 N Trekell Road from 4-6pm. In lieu of flowers, her family is asking for donations

to be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society.
