Sylvester "Silly" Longoria Jr.

Sylvester "Silly" Longoria Jr., 71, passed away August 17, 2022 at home in Eloy. He was born May 12, 1951 in Casa Grande and was raised in Picacho. He was in the Vietnam War in the Navy. He worked at the Eloy School District for many years. He enjoyed playing his video games and watching his movies. He loved to spend time with his family.

Sylvester is survived by his children Brandy Longoria Berger, Roger Longoria, and James Longoria; sisters Sarah Contreras, Diana Cabello, Anna Garza, and Patricia Marquez; brothers Hector Longoria and Joe Heredia; grandchildren Gregory Berger Jr., Antonio Berger, Jose Berger, Nicholas Berger, and Angela Longoria and great granddaughter Ariyah Berger.

He is preceded in death by his wife Peggy Longoria; grandparents who raised him Manuel and Juanita Longoria; his parents Sylvester Sr. and Ruth Longoria; brothers John, Justo, and Manuel Longoria and sister Julia Castillo.

There will be a private memorial at a later date.
