She is survived by her mother Lydia Ruiz Ramirez; her children Daphnie Ramirez, Ashnie Noel, Lupe Thornton, Crushaw Marrufo, and Angelica Marrufo; her siblings Elvira Olivares, Erlinda Munoz, Antonio Marrufo Jr., Gloria Williams, Delia Marrufo, and Ruben Marrufo; 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents and her father.

"If you ever had the joy of meeting our Mom, then you know you could hear her before you saw her. Her laugh was loud, warm, and completely infectious. It would fill a room and lift the mood of anyone nearby. She was more than just her sense of humor. She was a strong woman, full of heart and gave everything she had to the people she loved. Whether it was a shoulder to cry on or words of wisdom, she was always there. That's just who she was."
