Mark Charles Rasmussen Sr. 46, of South Plainfield, NJ. died on January 4, 2018 in Casa Grande, AZ.
Mark loved being the center of attention, but he loved being a dad most of all. He had a few jobs throughout his life but he loved being a bartender the most. He loved making people laugh by telling really great jokes and acting silly. He loved singing karaoke at The Purple Turtle where he bar tended for 8 years. He was crazy about conspiracy theories and anything to do with space and UFOs. Mark's favorite thing to do was play video games with his son Nico and their online gaming friends. On Sunday nights the family all watched the "Walking Dead." Mark loved that show.
From Claudia, "I can't pick just one thing that he loved doing with me; we had many good times and yes, bad times, but 27 years later, the main thing is that we still loved being around each other. You were/are the love of my life and you will be terribly missed by me and everyone who knew you. Rest In Peace my love. Until we meet again!!"
In Mark's honor a celebration of life will be held within the next few weeks. Nico will post the date and time on Facebook for anyone that wants to attend. Thank you all.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin Albert Rasmussen and Rose Amelia Romano-Kallio; and his brother, Sean Michael Rasmussen.
He is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart of 27 years, Claudia Patricia Rasmussen; Mother-In-Law, Mercedes Ramirez; Step Father, Lawrence Kallio; Daughter, Jasmine Lynn Macias-Rasmussen; Sons: Nico Tosconi Rasmussen and long lost son Mark Rasmussen Jr.; Brother, Javier Acosta; and 1 Grandchild.
