Shirley Ann Derieg

CASA GRANDE- Shirley Ann Derieg-Born June 22, 1936 in Lynn Creek , MO to Edward G. Longacre and Essie Lovart.

Shirley's brothers and sisters included Kieth, Doral, Virginia, Lola, Bernita, Raymond and Ruthy.

It is with great sadness that our Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and friend has passed away on January 13, 2019. Shirley died peacefully, surrounded by Love after a courageous battle with cancer. We rejoice in the extraordinary life she lived and are extremely blessed and grateful to have been loved and cared for by such a thoughtful and spirited woman.

Shirley was that sweet little lady that was always doing for others before herself.

She was very talented and enjoyed many artistic hobbies including painting and cross-stitch.

Shirley retired from banking and traveled with her husband Richard of 60 years in their motorhome. Richard proceeded her in death by one year. They enjoyed many adventures and made many lifelong friends before settling in Casa Grande.

She is survived by her Son Carl Derieg (Georgiann), Daughter Francine Laird (Stanley) and Sister Bernita Garcia. She will be missed by her many grand-children, great grand-children and friends.

There will be no service at her request.
