Joseph "Jo Mamma" Wozny

Joseph "Jo Mamma" Wozny passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on June 30, 1957, in Maryland, Joseph lived a life defined by hard work, service, family, and the things he loved most.

Joseph proudly dedicated 12 years of his life to the Arizona City Fire Department, serving his community and serving others. He went on to spend 30 years with the Arizona Department of Corrections, where he continued his career of service and commitment.

Outside of work, Joseph enjoyed baseball and fishing, but his greatest joy was his family. He was a loving father and grandfather who cherished the time he spent with those closest to him. His family was an important part of his life, and he leaves behind memories that will be treasured for generations.

Joseph is survived by his son Jason Wozny and his daughter Kaylene Wozny Green; and his beloved grandchildren Mason Wozny, Addon Wozny, Joseph Green, Maxwell Green, and Adeline Wozny.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bobbi Wozny, and his son, Joseph Wozny, Jr.

Joseph will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his years of service to his community, his love of baseball and fishing, and the many memories he created with the people who loved him. Though his passing leaves an emptiness that cannot be filled, his love and memory will live on through his children, grandchildren, family, and friends.
