Sammy Kay Hendrickson, 74, of Paduca, Kentucky passed away on January 18, 2017 in Casa Grande, AZ. Sammy enjoyed his children and grandchildren. He was a cotton ginner for over 40 years and retired from Chickasa Cotton Gin in 2005. He was born in Paduca, KY but came to Arizona at age 13. He loved to sing Johnny Cash songs and his favorite color was red. He loved drinking coffee every morning at the local McDonald's.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Eleanor Hendrickson; Sister, Barbara Buckley; Grandson, Justin Shadrick.
Survivors include his wife, Adela Hendrickson; Daughters, Betty Ann Espinosa, Wynona Kornegay and Sami Heddings; Sons, Sammy Kay and Harvey Hendrickson; Stepchildren; Lily Zaragoza, Margie Castro, Cinthia Contreras and Nora Diaz-Maldonado; Brother, Billy Ray Hendrickson.
Funeral services will be held at 10a.m. Friday, January 27 at Calvary Chapel Church with Pastor David Landry officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
