William G. Mortensen

William G. Mortensen, 89, of Casa Grande, AZ died on August 25, 2017 at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center.

Bill sold his farm in 1962 and headed west for Great Falls Montana. He married Eunice Chappell on February 24, 1968 in Great Falls. He bought The Cascade Camper factory in 1981 and sold it in 1989 so that he could devote his time and energy to the volunteer ministry for Jehovah’s Witnesses. He moved to Arizona in October of 2009.

Bill is survived by his wife, Eunice Mortensen; Sisters, Margaret Jones of Summerset, MN and Louise Schade of Circle Pines, MN; Brother, Frank Mortensen of Shell Lake, WI.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Magnus and Gena Christiansen Mortensen; Sisters, Lillian Ullom, Katherene Mortensen, Jane Briggs, Lorraine Olson and Florence Carlson; Brothers, Martine, Raymond, Lester, Henry, Kenneth and Marvin Mortensen.

A memorial service will be held September 9, 2017 at 2 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 1971 N. Casa Grande Ave. with James Ellison officiating. Donations may be made to Worldwide Work at www.jw.org
