Richard Lane Williams, 71, passed away after a long battle with cancer in his home on February 18, 2018 with his loved ones by his side.
Richard was born in Washington, IN on July 15, 1946. He served in the Army doing 3 tours in Vietnam. He has lived in the Salt Lake Valley and in Arizona. He was loved by his church families in Yuma and Casa Grande. He was a cross country truck driver and he had many friendships across the nation, which he continued to keep in contact with even after he retired. His love ran deep for his children, his wife, his mother, and his sisters. He will be missed by all that knew him.
He is survived by his wife of almost 42 years, Mary Williams. His daughter: Janet DeNiro and son Michael Williams (Natalie Buchi-Williams). His 2 granddaughters: Brittany Jade and Zivah McKenzie. Mom: Dorothy Jean Williams and sisters Jan Wininger and Jill Finatri. He was proceeded in death by his father Kendall Williams and sister Janet Williams.
There will be a memorial celebration at Sun Valley Community Church in Casa Grande on March 17, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Pastor Chris Robilotte presiding.
