Rosie V. Gomez

Rosie V. Gomez, 59, passed away March 19, 2018 in Casa Grande. She was born April 5, 1959 in Artesia, NM. She lived in Arizona for 35 years after moving here from California. She was a teacher and also worked for the courts as an interpreter. She was an outgoing person. She loved to garden and spend time with her grandchildren.

She helped anyone who needed her. She was that go to person everyone went to. She was generous and loving and Mom to everybody. She was a symbol of hope for anyone who was struggling. She was always ready to lend help, compassion and strength to anyone who needed it.

She is survived by her husband Ernesto V. Gomez Sr. Her Mom Pilar Villescaz. Daughters Pilar Marie Gomez and Carmen Yvette Gomez. 9 sisters and 2 brothers. Grandchildren Zachary Frank Gomez, Ernest Gomez III, Roman Anthony Gomez, Eloy A. Gomez, Elianna Elizabeth Gomez, Marianna Rose Gomez and great grandchildren Seth Aiden Gomez and Lourdes F. Gomez.

She is proceeded in death by her son Ernie V. Gomez Jr, father Demetrio Villescaz and 4 brothers.

Services will be Thursday April 12 at 10am at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church in Eloy.
