Robert "RJ" Jones

Robert "RJ" Jones, 61, left this earth to be with our Lord in Heaven on November 27, 2018. He was born on January 9, 1957 to LaVerne (Sarmento) Green. He leaves behind the love of his life, his wife of 15 years, Michele, two children, Michael and Stefanie (Angel), three granddaughters, Angelina, Isabel and Eva, a sister Alvina, two nephews, Dylan and Derek, and his mom LaVerne Green.

RJ loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. He also loved being a law enforcement officer. He served with the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department in the housing projects for 8 years. He moved to Arizona where he served at the Department of Corrections, Gila River Indian Community, and the Pinal County Sheriff's office.

There will be no official services. RJ strongly felt that they are depressing and overwhelming. There will be a gathering at a later date, where everyone will be able to eat food, hang out and share their stories of RJ with others.
