Darryl "Lorax" Richards

Darryl "Lorax" Richards was born June 13, 1963 in Florence, Arizona. He left to rest on July 17, 2025

Darryl was an one of a kind man when he met his late wife Martha, she knew no English and he knew no Spanish, but somehow they still managed to get married. Darryl helped raised Martha's 4 children from a previous marriage and throughout the years they added 4 more children making a family of 10. Darryl raised and loved each child unconditionally. When Darryl lost his late wife in 2007 to breast cancer, he continued to do his best at being a father.

Darryl was a former truck driver and a former farmer. He enjoyed watching country movies and Monday night raw, his favorite movies was "8 seconds".

He was a happy go lucky kind of guy, who always thought of others. He was known for his sweet kind heart, his sense of humor and his dedication to his family. He cherished every moment with his children and grandchildren.

Darryl's larger then life spirit and unforgettable laughter leaves a lasting mark on all who knew him, he will be remembered as someone who made the world on only bright but a whole lot funnier.

His favorite saying was "Ima kick your butt"
