David Allen Holt, age 77, passed away in his home on August 8, 2025. David was born

on February 3, 1948, in Colusa, California, to Leona and RC Holt. A Vietnam Veteran,

David served his country with honor in the United States Army, 1968-1972. After his

military service, he continued to server others through his work at the Arizona Water

Company and with the Arizona Highway Patrol. He was a water and compost specialist,

as well as a skilled home builder and remodeler.

David had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy in hunting, fishing, and camping.

He was a man of many talents, but above all, he was devoted to God and his family. He

was a kind, patient teacher to anyone that was willing to learn. His quiet strength, deep

wisdom, and steady presence will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife Priscilla Jane Holt; his daughter Rebecca Estrada and

husband Vincent; his grandchildren Bethany Salas and husband Justin, Leeland

Woodward and wife Laney, Aubrie Estrada-Rigual, Haley Estrada, William and Charlotte

Keele; and his great-grandchildren Robert Salas, Christopher Salas, and Lillyanna

Salas. He is also survived by his brothers Ronald Holt, Edward Holt and wife Paula, and

his sister Nancy L’Hommedieu.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Leona and RC Holt, and his son Allen

Carter.

David’s life was one of service, craftsmanship, and unlimited love for God, his family,

and his country. He leaves behind a legacy of strength, humility, and care that will live

on in all who had the honor to know him.

A memorial service will be held by the family to honor David’s life on September 6 th at

10am with a Fellowship potluck afterward. Arizona City Evangelical Methodist Church

14350 S Overfield Rd, Arizona City, AZ 85123.
