Stephanie Faye Riordan

March 23, 1971 - July 30, 2022

Stephanie Faye (Briggs) Riordan, 51, was born March 23, 1971, in Lamar, Missouri to James Edward and Donna Faye (Rice) Briggs. Stephanie bravely and cheerfully fought cancer for two and a half years. Her final days were spent surrounded by family where she died peacefully at home in Casa Grande, Arizona, July 30, 2022.

In 1996 she married Nephi Wesley Riordan and raised four wonderful children with him: Michael Andrew (wife Emily, son Daniel), Megan Keliiokalani (husband, Mark), Jeremiah Kahanamoku (soon to serve a mission for their church in the Dominican Republic) and Sequoia Leilani. She loved her husband, children and grandson and will be sorely missed by each of them. Though she died much too young, she left a legacy of love, service and cheerfulness that, along with trust in Jesus Christ’s loving kindness, will bring hope and healing in her absence.

Stephanie loved being a homemaker, photographer and homeschooler. She also loved vintage Disney, gardening and animals. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

All who knew her will remember her beautiful smile and positive attitude. She was always happy, upbeat and cheerful in good times and bad - even during chemotherapy and radiation. She loved to serve and bring joy to others. She liked to keep busy and, even when she was sick, made hats and folder games for a myriad of grateful friends and relatives and sent lots of Marco Polo videos full of fun and laughter.

Stephanie is also survived by her mother, her brothers Harold and Jason Briggs, Jimmie Hoover (uncle) and Curtis Rice (cousin) as well as a host of relatives on her husband's side who will miss her smiles and contagious laughter.
