Adelina Santos Duran

November 1, 1942 - October 28, 2022



Adelina Santos Duran passed away on October 28, 2022 in Casa Grande. She was 79.


Adelina was born in Los Angeles and moved to Casa Grande when she was 3 years old. She was married to her high school sweetheart and best friend, Rafael, for 59 years. She was a homemaker but also a hair stylist who owned her own business. She taught classes at CAC and taught religious classes at St. Anthony's. She liked to crochet, write poems, COOKING for everyone, and she was involved with community service including volunteering for the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved having family around and spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids.


She is survived by her husband Rafael; her children Ralph (Lisa), Matt S. (Emily), Maria Eva Elena (Chris), Carlos (Aida), Bernadette (Justin), and Mercedes (Kevin); her sister Margarita Sanchez (Louie); her brothers Frankie (Rosemary), David (Ana), and Vicente (Doreen) and 23 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.


She is preceded in death by her parents Eva and Julian Santos; her brother Julian Santos; her sister Margie Martinez; her granddaughter Leticia Duran and her grandson Mekhi Duran.


Services will be November 3, 2022 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

Mass 9:30 am

Burial immediately following Mass at Mt. View Cemetery.
