Surviving are 3 children, Christine Maida, Bobbie Lembo, and Jennifer Hammond

            Sister:              Mrs. Linda Berman

4 Grandchildren:  Danielle Maida, David Lembo, Fred Jacobs, & Valerie Ryan 

3 Great Grandchildren: Nathaniel Ryan, Jayce Jacobs, & Natalie Ryan

Preceded in death by her parents, her husband:  Valentine Lembo.

Siblings: Bette Yallelus, John Sweetman and wife Helen, and Fred Sweetman, Peter Lembo & wife Virginia, Gus Lembo, and Connie (Lembo) & husband Augie Tiritilli

2 Sons: Patrick John Lembo, and David Roy Lembo

Joan (or Mom, as she was known to many) loved her family, and her Lord Jesus.  If you knew Mom, you knew about her Lord too.  She loved doing and leading Bible Studies, Coloring and creating Stained Glass.  If you knew her, you knew that she loved Purple, Pansies, Cats, Books (thousands) and a collection of Angels that decorated every space in her home.  It was her wish that her Angel Collection be shared with all who knew her and be available at her memorial Service.  She grew up listening to the Rat Pack, Frank Sinatra, Steve Lawrence & Edie Gorme, and Andy Williams.  She loved the old familiar hymns and listening to the Gaithers and Mark Lowry (also known to family as her internet boyfriend (who she finally got to see in person.  She loved to travel and was fortunate to go on several cruises, seeing Paris, London, Ireland, Portugal, and Bermuda.  

Memorial Services will be held in Casa Grande as well as in NJ.  

Casa Grande service to be held at:  1st Presbyterian Church Family Life Center, Saturday April 20, 2024, at 4:00 pm

Clergy Pastor Bill Heinle presiding.

Her ashes will go back to NJ to be buried with her husband and sons.
